Meet JoDee Read, Plumas District Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer. JoDee grew up on a cattle ranch in a small town north of Madras Oregon where her father and brother continue to ranch. “I am passionate about rural healthcare, relationships, collaboration, and horses,” Read says. JoDee attributes these passions through her life experiences, living the sacrifices her parents made to ensure she and her siblings had bright futures, and her grandmother Betty Jean Johnson who encouraged her to see the best in people knowing you can do more together.
